Miracles!

Mark 16: 17 & 20 “These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name…They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them.” And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked with them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.”

Do you know that the Lord Jesus wants you to live in the place where signs, wonders and miracles are as natural to you as breathing? In the Scripture listed above, as well as many others, He simply qualifies any Believer who believes in His Name as the one who will live with signs following themselves. When we consider the Word of God, miracles should be part of our every day experience. The Power of God should be flowing freely in and through our lives, not just on occasion!

You are part Diety. You are part Divine! Don’t suck all the oxygen out of the room, stop and consider what the Word of God says. “Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?” John 10:34 “And by that same mighty power, he has given us all of his rich and wonderful promises. He has promised that you will escape the decadence all around you caused by evil desires and that you will share in his divine nature.” 2 Peter 1:4

Consider David laying on his back in the hill country gazing up into the heavens and experiencing this revelation from the Spirit of God. “When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you have set in place—what are mortals that you should think of us, mere humans that you should care for us? For you made us only a little lower than God, and you crowned us with glory and honor. You put us in charge of everything you made, giving us authority over all things…” Psalm 8:3-6

That thinking takes my breath away! That, however, is exploding with truth! Revelation 5:10 “And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” What kind of religious excuses can we make to avoid having to deal with THIS Truth!

I am not saying that you are God! There is only one God, BUT you were created in the image and likeness of God and you are His Offspring. Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion…and over all the earth…” Acts 17:28 “For in him we live, and move, and have our being…For we are also his offspring.”

Miracles are natural to God. They appear supernatural to us, but now we are living in the realm of the supernatural, therefore miracles should be a natural part of our lives. A miracle happens by supernatural means and that means now abides in you! Acts 1:8 “But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power to testify about me with great effect…” Herein lies the secret to Church growth for the next twenty years or so, or until Jesus returns. Church growth will come as a direct result of a Holy Church walking in loving obedience and intimacy with Christ, resulting in the manifestations of the miraculous in the Body of Christ!

Walking Holy enables us to abide in Jesus and experience the miraculous. John 15:7-8 “But if you stay in me and obey my commands, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! My true disciples produce bountiful harvests. This brings great glory to my Father.” The world is hungry to see the Power of God, and they will on a magnanimous scale. The Church---You and I---will release these through the Power of the holy Spirit within us and the Name of Jesus!

Miracles are Powerful tools in the Kingdom of God! “But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever…So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her…At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed. And the whole city was gathered together at the door.” Mark 1:30-33 Because Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law of a simple fever, the entire town gathered at the door.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit has happened, the Gifts are resident within each of us, (maybe dormant, but they’re in there!) and healings are running rampant all over the world. We will have a revival of miracles like the world has never seen. The book of Acts will come alive right here in our midst! MIRACLES ARE FOR YOU RIGHT NOW!

If you want to see something you’ve never seen before, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done before! Here’s my suggestion!
1) Connect with Jesus constantly.
2) Commit to walk Holy before Him.
3) Listen to His voice and obey His every directive.
4) Give Him the glory!

“The truth is, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” John 14:12

Fear of Dying?

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God and trust also in me…I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” John 14:1,3 NLT.

When my Dad passed on into glory at the ripe old age of ninety three, the Lord gave me a Word to minister at his memorial service. “No man can stare death in the eye unafraid, whose end is uncertain!” Wow! What a blessing that was. If you are dying and you know what lies beyond, you will not fear death!

The vast majority of people face death with uncertainty and much fear! Is it possible to die without fright in the end? Listen to the common theme voiced by these people.

If what they all say is true, what could possibly allow mankind to face death unafraid? I believe that all these philosophers missed the boat. Death is not a curse, but a mere passageway into life immortal, basking in the presence, goodness and grace of Almighty God. Don’t be afraid, the cemetery is not the property of the Grim Reaper!

1 Peter 1:3-5 “What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole.” TM

It’s interesting to note that Jesus promised more than just an afterlife, BUT a better life! Breathing our last breath simply ushers us, as Born Again Believers, into the God designed Eternal Life for which we were created! How can we be sure that Jesus will keep His Promise of eternal life and resurrection for us? The Empty Tomb is the only evidence that we need! As Max Lucado puts it, “If Jesus’ tomb is empty then His promise is not!”

1 Corinthians 15:23 "But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when He comes back!” NLT

Job 19:25 “For I know that my redeemer lives, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth…”

So…let’s face death with faith in God! Death is nothing to be afraid of! Let’s allow the Resurrection of Jesus Christ to explode within our hearts and redefine the way we look at the end of life! Jesus broke “…the power of the Devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he deliver those who have lived all their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.” Hebrews 2:14,15.

It's Not Just Fancy Talkin!

“For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” 1 Co4 4:20 The New Living Testament states it this way. “The Kingdom of God is not just fancy talk, it’s living by God’s power!”

The question of the day is this! Are you just a big talker OR do you walk the walk in the Power of God? Paul was returning to the City of Corinth in order to address a bunch of “religious” Christians. He identified those people as the big mouthed ones who said all the right words, and made an open show of their “faith”, and went to Church on Sundays.

He warned them in advance of his arrival, telling them what he was going to be looking for. He was not going to be looking for a group who simply talked about the yesterdays and what happened in the past, or perhaps, even the “I remember when’s…” He claimed to be able to identify the true Believers by the evidence of the Power of God flowing in and through their lives.

In Matthew 22:29 Jesus exposed the same grouping of “religious” peoples. “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”

There are those whose lives do not back up their declaration of faith in Jesus. The power of God must be flowing in and through our own lives to witness to the fact that we belong to Christ! Acts 1:8 states that when “…the Holy Ghost comes upon you, you shall receive power to witness…”

1) The Power must flow in our own life. When the power of God comes “upon” you, there is a subsequent change in the kind of lifestyle we live. Our lifestyle declares that the flesh is no longer exercising lordship over us. Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

We live lifestyles that stand out from the average everyday life. Others can see the difference and the changes made as a result of His Lordship. The harsh or coarse words cease to be spoken. The smoking, drinking and overeating fall by the wayside, because they no longer have dominion over us! We go to Church on Sundays not because we have to, but because we honor God and we need His refreshment!

We pull on His Power within to live a righteous lifestyle. We begin to encourage instead of criticizing others and the “love of God within us” begins to flow out toward others! WE DO NOT JUST TALK LIKE CHRISTIANS…WE LIVE LIKE ONE!

Do you know how many people are watching and measuring the “Jesus Effect” in our lives? They are judging the reality of His existence, based on the change factor modeled in our lives. What does your lifestyle show about Jesus?

Finally, Jesus commands us in 1 Corinthians 6:17 “…come out…and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things and…you will be my sons and daughters.” We are not meant to be or to even look like the world. We are called to be differnent!

2) The Power must flow through your life! John 7:38 “He who believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” There is a river within you that exists to flow out of you and into the lives of other people.

The Holy Spirit tells us that “The Kingdom of God is not just fancy talk, it’s living by God’s power!”

Jesus commissioned the twelve to let the river flow out from within. Matthew 10:1 “…He had called unto him his twelve disciples, and he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.”

He commissioned the seventy to let the river flow… Luke 10:9 “And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”

Finally He commissions all Believers to let the river flow…Jesus said that “…these signs shall follow them who believe; In my name they will cast out devils; …they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

Perhaps it’s time for each of us to pause for some reflection. Does my life truly reflect the Christian (Christlike) lifestyle? What modifications need to be made? What needs to be changed? Do those who do not know Him, really see the Power of God resident in my life? Am I distinguishable from those who live in the world? Can they really see the difference?

DO IT!

"...why are you standing here staring at the sky? " Acts 1:11

Most Christians are very content simply playing the role of observers as we stand and gaze at the handiwork of God. In the Book of Acts when Jesus was taken up into heaven, the angels appeared to those who were left behind and posed this question. I believe the unspoken truth was to "get into the upper room and wait for the enduement of power from on high" that Jesus had promised, and then "DO IT!". Lu 24:49 "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but wait in the city of Jerusalem, until you are endued with power from on high."

I sense that its time to ask the same question of today's believers. We are all beginning to focus on the return of Jesus so He can get us out of this mess the world is in. Yes, He is coming back soon, however there is much work to be done before He returns. There are many souls to save and lives to be impacted. Holiness is to be obtained, and the glory of God is to be revealed in and through our lives. Isaiah 60 says that in the midst of "gross darkness" that "the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. And the Gentiles shall come to your light..." Isaiah 60:2-3.

If there is so much to be done then the question remains of why Christians are not doing what we're suppose to be doing to prepare the way for His return?

1) We lack the vision... Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish." We are so self absorbed in ourselves and the lives of our own families that we fail to catch the vision for revival and worldwide evangelism. At least we could be concerned with our own communities and workplaces. Ask yourself..."How many people have I proclaimed the Good news to lately, either by my words or my life?"

2) We lack the power...I don't mean the indwelling presence as described in John 4:14 "...the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." I mean the river of water flowing out of our lives through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. "Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." John 7:37-38 Its sad to say...THE RIVER HAS RUN DRY!

3) We walk in fear...of the cost of paying the price to see the miraculous...of what people will say about us...of giving up the simple pleasures of the flesh...of having to spend more time with Him...or what IF God doesn't back me up? Psalm 118:6 " The LORD is on my side; I will not fear..." Notice that your WILL is involved with the refusal to fear! When you comprehend that God is on our side..then we refuse to fear!

4) We walk in ignorance..."It's the Pastor's job or the leadership!" Hogwash, our job is to train and equip the saints to do battle. The Bible says that signs and wonders will follow the BELIEVER as we go into the world proclaiming the good news! "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature...And these signs shall follow them that believe..." Mark 16: 15-17

5) We have become disconnected from the Body of Christ... "Now all of you together are Christ’s body, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it. " 1 Corinthians 12:27 You are designed to function as part of the Body. YOU WILL NEVER MAKE IT ALONE! You are not designed to function on your own! You are not the "Lone Ranger" or "An Army of One." Until you discover your function in the local member(Church) of the Body of Christ and begin to flow in that purpose, we the Church will be handicapped! One of my Spiritual mentors taught me that "a hand cut off from the Body, becomes a pile of dead meat." Have you gradually become a pile of dead meat? You are not designed to be so!

When the Patriarch David stopped staring at the night sky, he caught hold of the Heart of God, and discovered that there wasn't anything that could stop him from doing what God had called him to do!

LORD, you have brought light to my life; my God, you light up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. Psalm 18:28-29.

David knew that God was "a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6 In other words, God blessed those who worked at establishing relationship with himself. David refused to be a "do nothing" for his God.

He discovered that when he walked out of his time in the presence of God that he had a renewed vision; power and ability that enabled him to do anything; faith that would not fail; that Truth had been revealed to his heart; and a desire to walk knit together with other believers had been deposited within! "...it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." Phillipians 2:13

Someone out there is waiting for you to respond with the Power and Authority of God that has been deposited within you! Please don't let them down! We don't want to leave anyone behind to experience what's going to happen when it all comes crashing down. Get in the presence of God...go after the "enduement of power" and when you get it; let it flow onto others!

JESUS IS COMING: PART TWO

Isaiah 24:1 “See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants.”

We don’t have four hundred years or more until Jesus returns! His return is at hand. Jesus said no man knows the time, but we can know the seasons. I know the season and if you will take a moment and reflect on the times, you will recognize the season! In the year 1948 the “fig tree” nation of Israel was reborn. The Bible says the generation that sees this transpire will see the Day of the Lord.

Israel has been re-established as a Nation and Jerusalem is her Capital city.
The United States has begun to lose her influence over the world.
Religions are now headed toward a one world ecumenical church, where any way to God is acceptable and sin is no longer deemed sin.
Fear of Nuclear holocaust has set the stage for a Global Community Leader…the Antichrist.

Isaiah 24:5-6 “The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth's inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.

Isaiah 24:17-21 “Terror and pit and snare await you, O people of the earth. Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is thoroughly shaken. The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls--never to rise again. In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below.”

In a relatively short period of time from now, the earth will rock and reel like a drunken man. Buildings will collapse into heaps of dust and asphalt highways are going to flap in the winds of eternity.

There will be a world economic collapse (The stage has already been set). Food will be over priced and hard to find and buy. There will be epedemics, continued breakdown of society, and increased famines and wars. Initially, one quarter of the world’s remaining population will die. (Remember, the Church is out of here!) The wrath of God is poured out on the inhabitants of earth and their sinful ways, like we can’t even begin to imagine.

IT’S TIME TO GET TO WORK, IT’S TIME TO PRAY FOR A HARVEST OF SOULS BEGINNING TODAY. IT’S TIME TO GET HOLY, STOP PLAYING CHURCH AND SELL OUT THE WHOLE ROUTE.

You can call me a fanatic, BUT right before the world begins to disintegrate and die, the moon starts bleeding and the furies of hell are unleashed on this earth, THERE IS A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING TO BE CHANGED IN A MOMENT, IN THE TIME IT TAKES TO TWINKLE YOUR EYE AND SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD! JESUS IS COMING!

Nuclear war breaks out in the Middle East. You know it’s coming, the whole world knows it’s coming! Believers especially should know it. It’s in the Book!

1/3 of all the fresh water will be destroyed. (Undersea oil geysers?)
1/3 of the life in the seas will be destroyed.
The light of the sun and the number of stars in the heavens will be reduced by 1/3.

Now here’s the good news! Prior to all of this, rolling off of His seat next to the Father, Jesus, the Name Above All Names, at the Command of Father God, is going to travel through space and time and break the eastern horizon and we are going to meet Him in the air. He will have the scars to prove that He is THE GREAT I AM, THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST!

He will seemingly look at each of us at once and declare…” Come, good and faithful servant. Inherit the paradise I have prepared for you from the foundations of the world.”

The Stage has been set. I believe that the antichrist has already been born and is simply awaiting the departure of the Church, allowing him and his minions to exercise their rule openly and freely. It could be days, months or years from now…But one thing I know…Jesus is Coming!

Are you ready? Is your life a “living epistle?” What kind of Jesus do others see through your life’s witness? What kind of Gospel do you live? Is there enough power in your daily life, that others know that you are called by the name of the Lord? Are you living holy on Sundays and living like the devil the rest of the week? Are you praying for revival to break out in your own life; in the lives of your unsaved loved ones?

Re-read the two part series… it’s all going to happen, and we don’t want any of our friends or loved ones left behind to endure the tribulation of God’s wrath! Let’s all hear the call and rise to be the Church He has called us to be. A glorious, victorious Church, without spot or wrinkle walking daily in the power and proclamation of the Holy Spirit!

HIS NATURE WITHIN!

Colossians 1:13 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.) (Greek: the Son of his love)

In recent writings, we demonstrated that the Bible says that we are New Creations, living in Eternal Life, filled with the Divine Nature of God. We discovered that there isn’t anything we can’t do as we remain connected with Jesus, because we are able to stand in God’s Presence as though sin has never touched our lives, and whatever we ask our Heavenly Father (according to His Will) in Jesus’ name, we receive. I could stop right there and have a party!

Jesus made an incredible statement in the Gospel of John. John 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do will he also do; and greater works than these will he do; because I go unto my Father.” “Impossible,” You say! Because Jesus was God and He had access to Divine ability.

Read this Scripture very carefully! “Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ, who, though he was God, did not demand and cling to his rights as God, but laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men.” Phillipians 2:5-7 NLT

You’ve never seen that one before, have you? Everything Jesus did while He lived here on earth, is possible for, and available to, every intelligent child of God today. The difference is that Jesus knew what belonged to Him and Jesus exercised His rights. If you were left a million dollars by some distant relative and did not know it, or did not go to the bank and exercise your right to withdraw, that million dollars would never do you any good.

We, as Christians do not know what belongs to us. Not knowing what belongs to us, we are unable to use our rights:

1) God wasn’t any more His Father than He is ours! John 17:23 “…that the world may know that thou have sent me, and have loved them, as thou have loved me.”

2) He was the Son of God. You are a Son of God. John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God…”

3) He was Diety! You are partakers of the Divine Nature…THAT is Diety! 2 Peter 1:4 “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature.”

4) He had the Holy Spirit in Him! You have the Holy Spirit in you! 1Corinthians 6:19 “What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you…”

Jesus took advantage of the God-life within Him in a manner that we never have. He allowed the Holy Spirit right of way in a sense that we have never experienced. Just because we have never experienced it, does not mean that it is unavailable!

God is your Father.

You are Sons and Daughters of God.

You are full of His Divine Nature.

The Holy Spirit lives within you!

Is it any wonder that Jesus said in Mark 9:23 “… all things are possible to him that believes!”

Do something awesome and miraculous for Jesus today!

Loose the Spirit within!

WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?

The disciples were in a tizzy. The storm was raging and the waves were crashing over the sides of the boat. Sometimes life seems that way. Things are happening all around and it seems like we’re about to go under. At least the disciples knew that Jesus needed to be involved in their crisis and they awakened Him. Then He came to their rescue! (By the way, HE IS NOT SLEEPING NOW!) If you come to Jesus in the midst of your storm, you will not go under!

There is a better way than coming to Jesus for help in the middle of your trials and tribulations. That is STAYING with Jesus. If you’re already with Him, you won’t need to come to Him in order to use HIS faith. If you are connected with Jesus and have been in intimate Fellowship with Him, your Faith will be sufficient. He asked the disciples and He asks us today the same question. “Where is your faith?” Luke 8:25

HIGH LEVEL FAITH IS A DIRECT RESULT OF HIGH LEVEL FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM! He said in John 15:7 “If you stay joined to Me, and My words remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted.” In verse 5 He also stated that “apart from Me you can do nothing.”

After Jesus had calmed the storm and He turned to the disciples and asked them the question that implied that the Faith that they had, should have been sufficient to rebuke the storm and cause them to pass safely through the storm. Remember Shadrach, Mishak and Abednigo, that all the time they were in danger of being consumed by the fiery furnace (trials in your life), Jesus was right there with them. These boys spoke out in simple Faith and Jesus showed up in the middle of the fire. “…our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.” Daniel 3:25 They spoke directly to the source of the storm and the result …“I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” When Jesus goes through the fire with you, you will come out on the other side without a “hair of your head being singed…and not even the smell of smoke upon your garments.” Verse 27

“Where is your Faith?” The Bible says that “Faith comes by hearing…the Word of God.” Romans 10:17 This kind of “hearing” requires intimacy and fellowship with God. It requires time and effort in developing our relationship with Him. In James 4:8 the Word declares “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” Hebrews 11:6 tells us that God rewards those who work on developing Relationship with Him. “…He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” When you allow “…the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts (Putting other things first-idols..Matthew 6:33) of other things, to enter in, they choke the word (Faith building Word of God), and it becomes unfruitful.” Mark 4:19 Where are you spending your time? What things are you pondering; the worries of the world or the Promises and Power of God?

Remember Great faith stills the Greatest Storms! “…Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is your faith: be it done to you, even as you desire. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.” Mt 15:28

Your Faith will be developed and Increased only in the Presence of God. Spend time today in Fellowship with Him, so that when the next storm arises in your life, you are already connected to Jesus. You will then be given the exact words to speak and they will come forth out of your mouth filled with Great Faith and Great Power, and watch the Storms be stilled!

OBAMANATION OR OBOMINATION?

"I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God’s mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, For he wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth." 1 Tim 2:1-4

President Barack Obama, a man with little experience, who speaks with a voice that soothes the fears and stirs up the hopes of many people. Some say he is a savior of the nation while others proclaim the he could be the anti-christ. I believe that he is a man who is trying to do the best he knows how, with the circle of influence (advisors) and the problems that currently surround him.

It doesn't matter what political camp you park your vote in. The fact remains that for the next 3.5 years he is the President of this great Nation and He needs our prayers. Surrounded by liberals Harry Reid (Senate Majority Leader) and Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the House of Representatives) they are quickly changing the landscape of America. Some believe that its for our betterment, while others say we are headed for doom and destruction. This is a political party that believes that the murder of unborn babies is alright; that God should be separated from our governmental affairs; that prayer should not be allowed in our courthouses or schools; in higher taxation, and that they (Government) know how to run our lives better and more efficiently than we do.

We must pray for those in authority (Whether we agree or not) over us if we wish to reap the benefits of good government. This is part of God's plan for our nation! "What do we pray?" someone asks. May I suggest Jeremiah 24:7 "...I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart." Pray that the Lord will give them a heart to know Him personally. Pray that He will turn their hearts towards Himself, and that He will be their God and they will be His people! Pray that God will turn their hearts like a river, to do His Will!

Don't ever forget that God is still in control and that He holds the hearts of these men and women (As well as our own) and He can turn those hearts wherever HE WILLS! When a man's heart is turned, his thinking and his life actions will soon follow. Proverbs 21:1 confirms this fact. "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes."

I have to admit that in the past when someone of a different political philosophy was in the White House, I neglected to perform my civic and Christian duties. I didn't even consider to pray for those whom I differed with! I spoke against them. I have been enlightened by the Word of God and have confessed my sin and repented. I came upon a Scriptural Principal that squarely places the blame for the troubles of The United States of America on the Church...NOT ANY POLITICAL PARTY OR PERSON!

"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14


If My People (The Church)...

Humbles themselves...realize our desperate need for God's involvement...that we lack the power...that we have fallen short of our responsibilities...fallen asleep at the wheel...that we have played Church and have not been the Church.

Pray...for revival in the highest places of influence in the land...for President Obama.

Seek the Face of God...not His Hand...Get into His Presence just to be with Him, to love on Him, to spend time with Him for Who He is, not for what He can do for us!

Turn from our wicked ways...Get holy! Pay the price to Abide in His presence. Say No to sin!

GOD WILL HEAR...FORGIVE AND HEAL OUR LAND!

Don't go to bed tonight before you pray for our President and the leadership of this great Nation! Whether you agree with them or not you are commanded to pray for them! I want to see President Obama gloriously proclaim the Name of Jesus Christ all over the world, because he has encountered Him personally! I want to see Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and all the other leaders get revived by the Power of the Holy Spirit. He is our only chance regardless of who is in power!
