THE WAY WHERE. PART 2
John 14:6 “Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.”
God began to reveal Himself to the Jewish Nation by manifestations into the sense realm which had taken control over man’s life. Spiritual fellowship was impossible because man was spiritually dead due to Adam’s transgression. When Jesus came, He revealed something brand new to the men and women of the fleshly sense realm who surrounded Him. He talked and fellowshipped with Almighty God, the God of the Jews, with a sense of intimacy that they couldn’t even begin to fathom. Ultimately He called their Jehovah God, His Father!
I encourage you to go back to “The Way Where, Part 1” and read it again until you get this truth cemented deep within you. When Paul and others referred to Christians in the Book of Acts, they weren’t known as Christians, or Pentecostals, or followers of the Messiah. They were recognized as members of a movement called “the way.” Check out the 5 Scriptures referenced in Part 1.
This movement was called “The Way” because their Master, Jesus, called Himself “the Way” and everyone knew exactly what He meant! Hebrews 10:8 begins to clear up the matter as Paul writes “…the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.” God’s Presence had been separated from man. Not only had the Relationship between God and man been terminated, but because of man’s sin nature, God could no longer fellowship with His precious creation in the manner in which He longed for.
If we piece together the Gospel accounts of the last moments of Jesus on the Cross, we can narrow the events to these…
Mark 15: 37-38 “And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.”
1) He said “It is finished!”
2) He bowed His head and gave up the ghost
3) The Temple veil was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
I believe that God does not waste His Words. The phrase “It is finished!” followed by His death, and the veil being torn in two are all tied together. Jesus’ loving actions immediately followed His Words. When He spoke those words, and gave up His life, the power behind those Words moved the Holy Spirit into action and He tore, or caused the veil to tear, thereby removing that which hindered God and man from fellowshipping together.
The Holy of Holies was now open to anyone and everyone whom the Blood of Jesus would cleanse. What does this mean for us today? Way back in time, Adam lost the way. Jesus came to point out that He was the reinstatement of the Way! Hebrews 10: 19 “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh.”
God is no longer alone separated from you! He can be approached and He desires for you to approach Him. You can meet with God; speak to God; listen to Him speak to you; receive His wisdom; receive His ability, His power and His authority!
Jesus said in John 14:23 “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word (Walk in obedience); and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
He is no longer in the Holy of Holies; the sin problem has been settled; the separation has been healed by Jesus, “The Way!” Now God says, “I want to come and make My Home with you!”
The very sad news is this: The great majority of the people who will be reading this teaching have spent little or no time alone with Him. This is what “The Way” has secured for us; Eternal Access into the Presence of The Father, and it has already begun. I’m not talking about you shouting out your requests and making your troubles and problems known to Him.
I’m talking about entering into His gates with Thanksgiving
I'm talking about shutting down our senses and fastening our minds on Him with Praise as we enter His Courts.
I’m talking about entering into His Presence, by virtue of “The Way” and speaking not a single word while awaiting His fresh Breath (Acts 3:19), His faith generating Word (Romans 10:17), and the impartation of His Ability, Energy and Strength.
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
When is the last time you entered His Presence and lay prostate before Him, with your mouth shut, and your spirit hungry to hear from Him? God is waiting for you to enter into His Presence and commune with Him through the mercies of the Shed Blood of Jesus! Wont’ you spend sometime with Him today and everyday? He is waiting for you!

THE WAY WHERE? PART 1
John 14:6 “Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.”
It is said that “The incarnation of Jesus was the master stroke of love!” When man was driven from the Garden of Eden because of his sin, he voluntarily (because of his sin) left the realm of the spirit and began to live in the much lower realm of the flesh or the senses. His communion, intimacy and fellowship with Father God were broken. The incarnation of Jesus was God’s intrusion into the fleshly sense realm. It was God’s way of dealing with man where man was living, moving and being.
God began to reveal Himself to the Jewish Nation by this intrusion into the sense realm. Spiritual revelation was impossible because they were spiritually dead due to Adam’s transgression.
When Jesus came, He revealed something brand new to the men and women of the fleshly sense realm who surrounded Him. It was something awesome and incredible to even begin to imagine. He talked with Almighty God, the God of the Jews, with a sense of intimacy that they couldn’t even begin to fathom. Ultimately He called their Jehovah God, His Father!
For this, He paid the price of confessing God as His Father. John 10: 36 “ Do you say…you blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?” Before He went to the Cross, Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 I always thought that Jesus was speaking that He was the “way” we get to Heaven; and He is. But it is so much more than that!
Read the following Scriptures, found in the Book of Acts, concerning the Title Christianity earned in its infancy stages. They weren’t known as Christians, or Pentecostals, or followers of the Messiah. They were recognized as members of a movement called “the way.”
Acts 9:2 Paul was sent to Damascus to arrest anyone who he found to be of “the way.”
Acts 18:26 Priscilla and Aquilla talked to Apollos and “expounded to him the way of God.”
Acts 19:9 Some spoke evil of “the way.”
Acts 19:23 “And about that time there arose no small stir concerning ‘the way’.”
Acts 22:2 I persecuted this ‘way’ unto the death.”
Why was this movement originally called “the way?” It was because their Master, Jesus, called Himself “the Way” and everyone knew exactly what He meant! He was declaring Himself to be the “way” where? Hebrews 10:8 begins to clear up the matter as Paul writes “…the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.” God’s Presence had been separated from man. Not only had the Relationship between God and man been terminated, but because of man’s sin nature, God could no longer fellowship with His precious creation in the manner in which He longed for.
We are told by the Historian Josephus that the veil which separated God from man, in the temple, was four inches thick and fifteen feet square, made of the finest dyed linen, inlaid with threads of gold.
This Scripture begins to shed light on exactly what the “Way” is! It is access to the very Holy of Holies, in the Old Testament, which provided a place for the Presence of God to manifest Himself and to dwell among His people. This new “Way” that Jesus proclaimed and that Paul preached was the “Way” into the Presence of God, which had previously been inaccessible. No one could enter the Presence of God except the High priest, and He could enter only once a year, in a cloud of incense and with a bowl of blood, to make the yearly atonement for the nation of Israel.
When Jesus (The Way) said “It is Finished!” something extraordinary occurred. Mark 15:37-38 “And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.” The veil that separated God from His people was torn “from the top to the bottom,” indicating the Hand of God had initiated the tearing of that which had alienated us from Fellowshipping with Himself.
The Holy of Holies is now open to anyone and everyone whom the Blood of Jesus has cleansed.

HEALING COMMISSION!
“Great multitudes followed Him, and he healed them all.” Matthew 12:15
Subsequently He also commissioned the twelve to carry on the Ministry of Healing. Matthew 10:5-8 “These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying…as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.”
Later Jesus also commissioned seventy others to carry on the ministry of healing to the physical body. Luke 10:1-9 “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also…and he said he to them…into whatsoever city you enter, and they receive you…heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”
Whenever The Kingdom of God is at hand (near) there is always healing power flowing. David recognized this simple fact as part of the benefits of relationship with our Heavenly Father. As a matter of fact, we would also do well to command our soul to rehearse the benefits of God on a regular basis. “ Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all thy diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies…” Psalm 103 2-5
Of course, David was very special to God and you’re not! So God only forgives all of David’s sin and heals all of his diseases. You He has chosen to walk in sickness, disease and sin! For you there is no hope!
Popycock (What?)! Popycock! Balderdash! Absurd! The Bible states that “…God is no respecter of persons.” Acts 10:34
That means God does not play favorites. We are all His favorites! His love and His Covenant is not based on your performance or ranking in the Kingdom of God. If God heals David of ALL His diseases…He will heal you of all your diseases.
Check the Ministry of Jesus. There were times when even those who sought to kill Him were able to be healed in the Presence of the Lord! “And it came to pass…that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.” Luke 5:17
Matthew 7:11 “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Healing is a good thing and He wants to give it to you!
Jesus then commissioned “all who believe.” Mark 16:17-18 “…these signs shall follow them that believe…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” He also confirms this commission in James 5: 14-16 “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save (Literally-heal or make whole) the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up… Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
Sadly we have taken this healing Scripture and turned it into a way to “oil up” those who are sick, fully expecting them to die. Perhaps we can in some way help them slide easier into Heaven. This is not a “Last Rite,” it is a call to healing…to carry on the same Ministry as Jesus had. “Great multitudes followed Him, and he healed them all.” Matthew 12:15
It’s supposed to be a prayer of Faith…believing God for the Commission and taking Him at His Word!
Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
He has not changed!
His Commission has not changed!
His Word has not changed!
His promises have not changed!
It’s time for you to change!
Cry out to God for what He has Promised! He loves you and wants you whole. 1 Corinthians 6:20 For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which both belong to God.”
God is about to breakthrough on your behalf. Step out of your religious tradition and step into the Word of God!

SO YOU THINK YOU'RE IN LOVE?
This past weekend I was privileged to marry my third son Benjamin and his beautiful bride, Adrienne. As with many of the other couples I’ve counseled before, I asked them the same question as the others. “Do you love this man/woman?” “Oh yes, I really do!” I follow up with the next question. “What do you mean when you say, ‘I love you!’ ”
The response usually goes something like this. “Oh she makes me feel so good.” “He makes me laugh and is always fun to be with” “I want to spend the rest of my life with her.” “He makes me feel safe and secure.” My response is “That sounds just like a relationship with a Puppy! Puppies make you feel good. They make you laugh and are always a good source of entertainment. As they grow they are able to make you feel safe and secure.
My next question goes like this. “What is Love?” Not one person has come up with an adequate answer. The best answer is to be found in The Manufacturer’s Handbook in 1 Corinthians 13. I am attaching the Amplified Version translation, because I think it really captures the essence of what real love is. I challenge you to read it slowly and meditate on each facet of what real love is.
First I want you to spend time alone with God and ask Him to show you how you rate on a 1-10 scale with a “10” being like the very Love of God. I must warn you, it won’t be very pretty.
Next spend time with your loved one and ask them to evaluate you. Evaluate each other, so you can get a real time picture of how your love life really is. When you are able to arrive at a conclusion to the areas of your life which need adjustment, pray for Divine enablement, and a Divine Strategy. Then begin to work together with your loved one in the direction of real love.
This may be a somewhat painful exercise initially, but when you eventually not only say that “I love you!,” but walk the talk as well, then you are on your way to an experience in your life where Heaven touches earth. Here we go. When I first took this test, I never got past the first one..."Love is Patient...."
1) LOVE IS PATIENT--it is slow to lose patience, does not demonstrate irritations, or reflect anger, or have a quick temper.
2} IS KIND--looks for ways of being constructive. It discovers successful methods of improving or contributing to the spouses life.
3} DOES NOT ENVY--it is not possessive; it does not hold exclusive control where
your partner is allowed little or no freedom to fulfill himself in what God has for him.
4} DOES NOT VAUNT ITSELF--it is not anxious to impress; does not seek to make
an impression or create an image for personal gain.
5} IS NOT PUFFED UP--it does not cherish inflated ideas of its own importance;
it is not self-centered; it does not allow or expect life to revolve around itself.
6} DOES NOT BEHAVE UNSEEMLY-- knows what is proper and when.
7} DOES NOT SEEK ITS OWN--it does not pursue selfish advantage; but has concern for
the needs of your spouse and the families involved.
8} IS NOT EASILY PROVOKED--it is not touchy, hypersensitive, or easily hurt;
does not take things too personally.
9}THINKS NO EVIL--it does not keep account of evil; does not review wrongs
which have been forgiven; does not dwell on past evil; destroys evidence of past
mistakes when possible.
l0} DOES NOT REJOICE IN INIQUITY--does not use other’s evil to excuse personal weakness.
11} REJOICES IN THE TRUTH-- is in active fellowship with dedicated Christians; is occupied with spiritual objectives.
12} BEARS ALL THINGS--it knows no limit to its forbearance; has the ability to live with the inconsistencies of others.
13} BELIEVES ALL THINGS--it knows no end to its trust; you believe in your
spouse and your spouse’s worth without question. It has not reason to doubt the
person’s integrity.
14} HOPES ALL THINGS--it knows no fading of its hope for your relationship; it has
perfect peace and confidence in God.
15} ENDURES ALL THINGS--it has unlimited endurance; it is able to outlast anything;
it is able to endure all obstacles and even love in the face of unreturned love.
LOVE NEVER FAILS!
You can walk in love the way God designed it, or just continue on and waste your precious moments on this earth in complete frustration.

HOW CAN WE LOSE?
Facing imminent defeat? Under the Circumstances? Dark Cloud over your life? Kids gone wild? Marriage blowing apart? Finances failing? Job terminated? Sickness attacking your very life? People talking? Gaining weight? Hooked on porn? All alone and empty? Powerless and ineffective? Crazy thinking? Relationships suffering? Boss unbearable? Democrats in the White House? Republicans in the White House? health care? No health care? Earthquakes, wildfires, famines, wars, pestilence?
Add whatever else you would like to the list.
Listen to what the following Author penned concerning the possibility of you ending up on the losing side!
"So, what do you think?
With God on our side like this, how can we lose?
If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us,
Embracing our condition
And exposing Himself to the worst by sending His own Son,
Is there anything else He wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?
And who would tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen?
Who would dare even to point a finger?
The one Who died for us-Who was raised to life for us!
Is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us.
Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way!
Not trouble,
Not hard times,
Not hatred,
Not hunger,
Not homelessness,
Not bullying threats,
Not backstabbing,
Not even the worst sins listed in Scripture!...
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us!
I'm absolutely convinced that nothing...
Nothing living or dead,
Angelic or demonic,
Today or tomorrow,
High or low,
Thinkable or unthinkable,
Absolutely Nothing
Can get between us and God's love
Because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us!"

A HEALING CHALLENGE!
In my thirty plus years in Christian service, I have heard many testimonies concerning healing. Some were good and some not so good. The first person I ever prayed for in a hospital died that same night. Some stories ended with miraculous results, while others ended tragically.
Do you want to know the truth? Testimonies have absolutely nothing to do with the truth, integrity and power of God’s Word. The Bible does not say that we live and move by the tales we hear or tell. The Bible says “…the just shall live by faith...” Heb 10:38
The stories either positive or negative, may stir up our emotions, but the emotions produce no power. It is our childlike Faith on the Promises of God that produces results. 2Peter 1:4 states that by these “…exceeding great and precious promises…ye might be partakers of the divine nature… and you will have “…escaped the corruption that is in the world…”
I want to issue you a challenge today…
FIRST: Understand that everything that Jesus did was a perfect manifestation of the will of God. (If He had done anything against Gods’ will, He would have sinned) read the Scriptures below to confirm this fact…
Jesus said “…I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will…” O God. Heb 10:7
John 4:34 “Jesus said to them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me…”
John 6:38 “…I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
John 5:30 I can of my own self do nothing…because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
He said to Phillip when he wanted to see the Character and Nature of God… “…he that has seen Me has seen the Father; and how then can you say then, Show us the Father?” John 14:9
“If you’ve seen me you’ve seen the Father!”
HERE’S YOUR CHALLENGE: IT WILL TAKE SOME EFFORT (Remember God rewards those who “diligently seek Him…Hebrews 11:6) IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME! IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
I WANT YOU TO READ THE GOSPELS, WHICH CONTAIN THE LIFE ACTIONS AND WORDS OF JESUS. EVERYTHING HE DID AND EVERY WORD HE SPOKE WAS THE PERFECT MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S WILL.
I WANT YOU TO MEDIATE ON EVERY WORD AND STORY CONCERNING HEALING. I WANT YOU TO FOCUS ON THE FACT THAT EVERY TIME HE HEALED, HE WAS MANIFESTING THE WILL OF GOD.
NOTICE THE DIFFERENT WAYS PEOPLE GOT HEALED.
LOOK FOR COMMON DENOMINATORS.
OBSERVE THE PART FAITH PLAYED IN EACH HEALING.
WAS HE SELECTIVE ON WHOM HE HEALED?
CONSIDER THE DIFFERENT SITUATIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES.
WHAT WAS THE PEOPLE’S ROLE? WHAT WAS JESUS’ ROLE?
DID HE EVER SAY NO TO ANYONE WHO ASKED HIM FOR HEALING?
WERE THERE TIMES WHEN HE COULDN’T HEAL? (MARK 6) WHAT WAS THE ATMOSPHERE LIKE?
WHAT STIRRED HIS HEART TO HEAL?
HOW MANY SICK OR DISEASED PEOPLE DID HE HEAL?
READ LUKE CHAPTER 5 AND SEE WHERE THE POWER OF THE LORD WAS PRESENT TO HEAL EVERYONE IN THE ROOM (PHARISEES, SADUCEES & SCRIBES) BUT ONLY ONE CAME TO GET HEALED. (HE GOT WHAT HE CAME FOR)
WHAT IS YOUR CONCLUSION ON DIVINE HEALING FOR EVERYONE? YEA OR NAY?
Jesus healing Ministry in this earth was to fulfill the will of God (Hebrews 10:7) He, Himself is a revelation of the Will of God. He did the Will of God on earth in everything He did! He moved in the Love of God. Matthew 14:14 “And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.”
Allow me to sum up His ministry using the Word of God. Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
During His earthly ministry Jesus always manifested the perfect and complete will of God when He healed all those who were in need.
Now here’s the real good news as stated in Hebrews 13:8. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever.”

Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places?
Matthew 6:33 "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you." KJV
The new Living Translation puts it this way...
Matthew 6:31-33 " So don't worry at all...Your Heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need (List your need: Companionship, intimacy, etc.) and He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and live as He wants you to."
If you are looking for love in all the wrong places please keep on reading. The "Unknown Author" has written the very heart of God to those who are anxious or frustrated as they seek intimate relationships in this crazy world!

Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone. To have a deep soul relationship with another, to be loved thoroughly and exclusively.
But God to the Christian says, "No, not until you're satisfied, fulfilled and content with living;
loved by Me alone

"I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow Me to bring it to you.
Keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things.
Keep learning and listening to the things I tell you. You must wait.
"Don't be anxious and don't worry.
Don't look around at the things you think you want.
Just keep looking off and away up to Me, or you'll miss what I have to show you.
"And then, when you're ready, I'll surprise you with a love far more wonderful than any you would ever dream.
You see, until you are ready and until the one I have for you is ready, I am working this minute to have both of you ready at the same time, and until you are both satisfied exclusively with Me and the life I've prepared for you, you won't be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with Me, and this is perfect love.
"And dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love.
I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with Me, and to enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty and perfection and love that I offer you with Myself.
Know I love you. I am God Almighty, believe and be satisfied."
